Welcome to this short e-learning course on Human Trafficking.

The aim of this course is to raise awareness of Human Trafficking among health and social care staff. It does not cover the treatment of victims of human trafficking.

Who is this course for?

The main target audience for this course are health and social care staff who are interacting with patients.

Given the importance of your interaction with patients, you can play a crucial part in improving the immediate and long term care of all those affected.

You are in a unique position to recognise, identify and reach out to victims of Human Trafficking.

But the course should be of interest to all health and social care staff at all levels, from frontline staff to managers.

About this Course

This e-Learning course

  • provides some practical information on the health needs of trafficked people, and
  • briefly outlines your role in health and social care in identifying and responding appropriately to trafficked individuals.
